Rusty Clark
Senior Managing Partner
For over two decades, Rusty has helped clients address their financial concerns and is passionately committed to growing and preserving his clients' wealth. Rusty began his career as a Financial Advisor with Smith Barney in Longview Texas in 1997, where he developed his fundamental investment knowledge. He joined UBS in 2005 and 11 years later, he joined the team that would become 2911 Wealth Advisors, where he takes a team approach to providing personalized financial advice for individuals and families.
Rusty Clark is dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial dreams by first understanding their needs, offering sound investment advice and providing a level of service and availability that exceeds expectations. In helping his clients design strategies to help preserve and manage their wealth, he has formed alliances with other professionals to help clients understand tax planning strategies, estate planning and the complexities of investments in reaching individual goals.
Rusty graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, majoring in Microbiology and Biochemistry, and he is a devoted Longhorn alumnus. He holds a FINRA series 7, 63, 65 security registrations. In addition, Rusty has completed rigorous course work and examinations with all the firms he has been associated.
Rusty and his wife, Jo Ann, love to spend time with their four children and six grandchildren who are spread out over the state from Houston, San Antonio, Belton, and Midland. Rusty enjoys golf and has been an avid runner since his college days. He and Jo Ann love to travel when time with family allows. They have resided in Longview, TX since 1989, and they are proud to support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, the Wounded Warrior Project, the Teen Challenge Recovery Center, and the Chinn Guitar Project.

Something you may not know:
Rusty is a fifth-generation Texan, having grown up on a ranch riding horses, chasing cows, building fences, bush hogging, and bailing hay. In his own words, "Those experiences helped to make me who I am today."
